For an arbitrary module \(M\in R\)-Mod the relation between the lattice \(\mathbf{L}^{ch}(_{R}M)\)  of characteristic (fully invariant) submodules of \(M\) and big lattice \(R\)-pr of preradicals of \(R\)-Mod is studied.
