The topology of the computer network stands for the method of organization or mutual position of its elements defined by network architecture, which includes all types of network devices (hosts, switches, routers, repeaters). However the «Internet topology» should be considered on the logical level, which describes the data streams. And there is no specific definition on what «the Internet topology» means. Researchers often refer the Internet topology as the structure by which hosts, routers or autonomous systems (AS’s) are connected to each other. Or, as a group of interconnected routing domains, where some of domains are transit, and another domains are stub. This paper represents a version of the presentation of the topological space of the global computer network, formed by the global routing system on a plurality of interconnections between nodes. Any route to network prefix can be depicted as a topology element, and set of all routes provide a topology of the whole network. Therefore, inter-AS links are the elements of topological space. Thus spoofing links by announcing fake routes leads to emerging false topologies which could be selected by routing algorithm and become fake routes. Thus, it is reasonable that cyber attacks on the global routing system are equal to the attacks on the Internet topology. Presentation of the Internet at AS level as a topological space and network routes as elements of it’s mathematical topology opens the way to the use of topology methods for the study of topological Internet space and security of global routing system. Refs: 12 titles.   На шляху пошуку методів удосконалення топології глобальної комп’ю-терної мережі Інтернет з метою захисту її системи глобальної маршрутизації від кібернетичних атак стоїть відсутність конкретного визначення топології Інтернету як поняття. Запропоновано варіант формулювання поняття «топологія Інтернету» через математичне визначення топологічного простору, що утворений системою глобальної маршрутизації на множині з’єднань між вузлами — автономними системами. В результаті застосування такого підходу продемонст-ровано, що маршрути, які несуть інформацію про доступність мережевих префіксів, є елементами топології. Це відкриває шлях до використання методів топології для дослідження топологічного простору Інтернету.
