Cases of the welding process with and without the electrode metal evaporation and with the electrode preliminary heating have been considered. It is determined that application of linear approximation of the electrode metal melting rate versus welding current is more efficient, as compared with proportional approximation, since it is more accurate within the entire range of welding currents. Исследованы зависимости скорости расплавления металла электрода при дуговой сварке от сварочного тока. Рассмотрены случаи сварочного процесса без испарения металла электрода, с испарением металла электрода и с предварительным нагревом электрода. Определено, что использование линейной аппроксимации зависимостей скорости расплавления металла электрода от тока перспективнее, чем использование пропорциональной аппроксимации, т.к. линейная более точная во всем диапазоне сварочных токов. Досліджено залежності швидкості розплавлення металу електроду при дуговому зварюванні від зварювального струму. Розглянуто випадки зварювального процесу без випаровування металу електрода, з випаровування металу електрода та з попереднім нагріванням електроду. Встановлено, що використання лінійної апроксимації залежностей швидкості розплавлення металу електроду від струму більш перспективне, ніж використання пропорційної апроксимації, оскільки лінійна більш точна у всьому діапазоні зварювальних струмів.
