Inspections carrying out in a grounded chamber are more effective in the case of shielded cables. It is shown that utilization of an electrostatic voltmeter with higher sensitivity in comparison with digital voltmeter leads to registration as individual own internal noises of the cable as external ones. The coefficients of correlation between the results of measurements of the contact potential difference of the power cable by electrostatic voltmeter and by digital multimeter are determined. Представлены результаты измерений контактной разницы потенциалов неэкранированного и экранированного образцов кабелей с витыми парами без экранированной камеры, в экранированной не заземленной и заземленной камере. Проведение обследований в заземленной камере более эффективно в случае экранированных кабелей. Показано, что применение электростатического вольтметра с более высокой чувствительностью в сравнении с цифровым вольтметром приводит к регистрации, как собственных внутренних индивидуальных шумов кабеля, так и внешних. Определены коэффициенты корреляции между результатами измерений контактной разности потенциалов силового кабеля электростатическим вольтметром и цифровым мультиметром. Представлено результати вимірів контактної різниці потенціалів неекранованого та екранованого зразків кабелів з витими парами без екранованої камери, в екранованій не заземленій та заземленій камері. Проведення обстеження в заземленій камері більш ефективно у випадку екранованих кабелів. Показано, що застосування електростатичного вольтметру з більш високою чутливістю в порівнянні з цифровим мультиметром призводить до реєстрації як власних внутрішніх індивідуальних шумів кабелю, так і зовнішніх. Визначено коефіцієнти кореляції між результатами вимірів контактної різниці потенціалів силового кабелю електростатичним вольтметром та цифровим мультиметром.
