Резюме:Among a large number of environmental challenges today there are problems with the environmental condition of soils, as their contamination with various anthropogenic pollutants leads not only to their loss, but also to the spreading of diseases among the population. In the work was studied the landfill in Tishna village of Mezhigorskiy district of Zakarpattya region. It was revealed that this landfill is operated with violations of requirements of environmental legislation, norms and standards of environmental safety. The chemical composition of soils at Tishna landfill was studied. In the soil samples taken in the territory of the landfill, found a large amount of nitrite and nitrate ions, which is much higher than a similar indicator of control soils. In order to determine the impact of landfills on the health of the population of the district using statistical data, a comparison of morbidity and disease prevalence among the population of Mezhigorskiy district and Zakarpattia region by major classes of diseases for the period 2015-2017. The authors have established that the presence of unauthorized dumps may contribute to an increase in the incidence of diseases of the following classes: the nervous system, some infectious and parasitic diseases, endocrine system, eating disorders and metabolic disorders, injuries, poisoning and some other consequences of exposure to external factors, diseases of the blood and hematopoietic organs and certain disorders involving the immune mechanism.
