Description
Summary:This article is dedicated to substantiating the methods for quality control of temperature and salinity data in marine environmental research. Accurate and reliable measurements of these parameters are critical for modeling oceanographic processes, monitoring climate change, and preserving marine ecosystems. The study examines primary data collection methods, including in situ measurements, remote sensing, and laboratory analysis, with a detailed description of equipment such as CTD devices, ARGO floats, and autonomous underwater vehicles. Recommendations on calibration, standardization, and data processing are discussed, along with the use of modern software to ensure data quality. The article demonstrates the importance of controlled data for various research tasks, such as climate modeling, ocean current analysis, and marine resource management. It’s emphasized that maintaining high quality control standards and using a comprehensive approach to collecting and processing oceanographic data are crucial for successful marine research and advancing scientific knowledge about the ocean. Reliable data due to quality control provide essential resources for new scientific discoveries and environmentally focused management decisions.
