| description | The article assesses the current state of research on the issue of environmental social entrepreneurship in both foreign and domestic scholarly literature. The study outlines the distinctive features of the development of the phenomenon of social entrepreneurship and confirms the significant global interest in various aspects of the establishment, functioning, and advancement of social enterprises. The advantages of social entrepreneurship are identified and substantiated.
It is demonstrated that environmental social entrepreneurship constitutes an important component of social entrepreneurship and embodies progressive innovative solutions for environmental governance and the achievement of social security through simultaneous economic, environmental, and social impacts.
The analyzed studies indicate that social and environmental entrepreneurship form a unified integrated system. The main directions of environmental social entrepreneurship are characterized.
Special attention is paid to systemic barriers hindering the functioning and scaling of social entrepreneurship. In Ukraine, the development of environmental social entrepreneurship requires addressing issues related to the formation and advancement of a favorable institutional environment and legal regulation, access to resources and state support, the creation of socially oriented business strategies, support for and development of inclusive and “green” businesses, the application of innovative digital technologies, and the strengthening of the ecosystem approach through environmental management of war-related destruction waste, ecosystem restoration, and the promotion of local environmental initiatives.
The article presents a generalized overview of positive practices and case studies of environmental social entrepreneurship that are of strategic importance and demonstrate mechanisms and instruments for effectively addressing current challenges relevant to Ukraine.
The research possesses both scientific and practical value, as it systematizes the impact and advantages of social entrepreneurship for the recovery and sustainable development of Ukraine, thereby paving the way for the integration of scientific knowledge aimed at implementing relevant experience and fostering further in-depth study of this important issue.
Prospects for further research are associated with the study of specific legal, institutional, financial-economic, informational, and other mechanisms and instruments capable of establishing and promoting the development of environmental social entrepreneurship in Ukraine. |

У статті здійснено оцінку стану дослідження проблеми екологічного соціального підприємництва у зарубіжних і вітчизняних наукових працях. Окреслено особливості прогресу щодо явища соціального підприємництва. Підтверджено значний інтерес у світі щодо різних аспектів створення, функціонування та розвитку соціального підприємництва. Визначено переваги соціального підприємництва. Доведено, що екологічне соціальне підприємництво є важливою складовою соціального підприємництва та уособлює в собі прогресивні інноваційні рішення щодо екологічного управління та досягнення соціальної безпеки через одночасний економічний, екологічний і соціальний ефекти. Проаналізовані дослідження засвідчили, що соціальне та екологічне підприємництво є єдиною інтегрованою системою. Розкрито основні напрями екологічного соціального підприємництва. Акцентовано на системних бар’єрах для функціонування та масштабування соціального підприємництва. Для України розвиток екологічного соціального підприємництва потребує вирішення питання формування та розвитку сприятливого інституційного середовища та правового регулювання, доступу до ресурсів і державної підтримки; створення соціально-орієнтованих бізнес-стратегій, підтримки та розвитку інклюзивного і “зеленого” бізнесу; використання інноваційних цифрових технологій; посилення екосистемного підходу через здійснення екологічного управління відходами руйнувань, відновлення екосистем, розвиток локальних екологічних ініціатив тощо. Запропоновано узагальнений досвід позитивних практик та кейсів екологічного соціального підприємництва, що мають як стратегічне значення, так і демонструють механізми та інструменти ефективного вирішення поточних проблем, актуальних для України. Дослідження містить наукову і практичну цінність - систематизовано вплив і переваги соціального підприємництва для відновлення та сталого розвитку України, що прокладає шлях інтеграції наукових знань для імплементації релевантного досвіду та подальшого поглибленого вивчення цього важливого питання. Перспективами наукових розвідок вбачаються дослідження конкретних правових, інституційних, фінансово-економічних, інформаційних та інших механізмів та інструментів, які б утверджували в Україні екологічне соціальне підприємництво та сприяли його розвитку.
