| Summary: | 72 species of Plecoptera were found in the Ukrainian Carpathians, 11 of them - for the first time in the USSR. In the fauna of Plecoptera of the Ukrainian Carpathians the species of the following zoogeographical groups are presented: the European-Siberian, the wide European, the European-British, the species distributed in the Europe to the south of the maximum glacial boundary, the Boreo-Alpine, the Alpine, the European species with a break of areal in the middle Europe, endemics. The fourth group is the most numerous one (more, than 113 of species). As to the general character the fauna of the Plecoptera of the Carpathians is a middle European fauna with the presence of Ike Alpine species and a rather slightly pronounced endemism. |
