Description
Summary:Descriptions of the female (holotype) and male (allotype) and drawings (female, male, genitals) of the new for science species of sawflies-tenthredinids from the Macrophya genus are given: Macrophya (Pseudomacrophya) nizamii Ermolenko sp. n. The data (12 co and 10 ) are obtained in the second ten-day period of May on the young growth and young trees, Fraxinus excelsior L. in mountain narrows at the height of 1500-1600 m above sea level in environs of vil. Lerik in Talysh (the Azerbaijan SSR). The new species differs from the twin species Macrophya punctumalbum in more wide and flat parietal area limitted on both sides by deep furrows; females differ in yellowish-white postscutellum and bandages from below the latteral lobes of pronotum and along the middle of mesopleurons, black femurs of hind legs; males differ in absence of white spot near the apex of the hind tibia and equal ratio of imago of both sexes in the given population. The type samples are preserved in the collection of sawflies at the Institute of Zoology of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and at the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
