Summary:In 2008 and 2009, Zhabotyn Expedition of the IA NASU conducted complex research (topographical and geodesical, geophysical, archaeological, and palaeopedological) at Zhabotyn settlement of the Early Iron Age. In the central part of the site a ditch with seven stratigraphic layers was studied. They reflect five building horizons determined also for the settlement.
