Summary:Mixed binary films of different compositions have been obtained on the basis of polyurethane ionomer and alginate. As a result of their treatment with calcium chloride, ionically crosslinked hydrogels have been formed. The dependences of thermal, mechanical, and wateruptake properties on the composition have been studied. The interrelationship between components and a role of each of them are determined. The data confirming a miscibility of components in both series of films are given.
