У роботі підтверджено припущення про те, що елітні інбредні лінії кукурудзи з вертикально розташованими верхніми листками і гібриди, отримані на їхній основі, мають домінантну ознаку ефективного фотосинтетично-флуоресцентного типу і тому так успішно використовуються в селекції та сучасних технологіях виробництва гібридного насіння й товарної кукурудзи.
