Description
Summary:The article concerns a version of agency-structure synthesis as a methodology for thesocial dynamics understanding. Some epistemological limitation of M.Weberís social action concept is analyzed. Repulsing from the T.Parsonsís idea about a voluntary character of the social action, a theoretical attempt to rethink the categories of social action and rationality from the voluntary point of view is undertaken. The thought about social action duality, which realizes itself in the dialectic of its concrete and abstract aspects, is conducted. The social practices are examined as reflecting the action and structure dialectic. A compelling and stimulating character of the structures is emphasized. It is argued that a moral social practice links structure and action into the subject determined indivisibility.
