Summary:A mathematical model is proposed and the results are shown of studying the structure, kinematics and dynamics of the diesel engine with oblique washers. A structural scheme of the kinematic chain of statically determinate force system of engine is elaborated. The kinematic relationships are obtained with taking into account the presence of Hooke joints and oblique washers. A mathematical model of the engine dynamical system is described. A numerical example is considered. The kinematics and dynamical processes of the engine are studied.
