V. The goal of the article is the development and analysis of the flow control algorithm in the QoS networks. The classification, traffic shaping and queuing algorithms are under scope of the research. Since the usage of ATM technology is the main transport for IP traffic, the transit QoS issues are involved. Additionally, the similarity of IP and ATM QoS and the usage of DiffService mechanisms in ATM networks are investigated. Исследован методологический аппарат и проведен анализ алгоритмов управления потоками данных в сетях с обеспечением качества обслуживания. Для сетей IP с дифференцированным обслуживанием приведены алгоритмы классификации, формирования трафика и управления очередями. Поскольку основная транспортная среда для трафика IP — технология АТМ, рассмотрен транзит датаграмм IP через сети АТМ и сквозное качество обслуживания. Описана общность технологий качества обслуживания IP и АТМ, а также возможность применения механизмов дифференцированного обслуживания IP в сетях АТМ. Досліджено методологічний апарат та проведено аналіз алгоритмів керування потоками даних у мережах із забезпеченням якості обслуговування. Для мереж IP із диференційованим обслуговуванням наведено алгоритми класифікації, формування трафіка та керування чергами. Оскільки основним транспортним середовищем для трафіка IP є технологія АТМ, розглянуто транзит датаграм IP через мережі АТМ та наскрізну якість обслуговування. Описано спільність технологій якості обслуговування IP та ATM, а також можливість застосування механізмів диференційованого обслуговування IP в мережах АТМ.
