Проведен анализ вероятностных характеристик работы узлов сети Internet с учетом реального нестационарного характера потоков запросов пользователей. Дана достаточно точная модель вероятности отказа в принятии запроса из-за ограниченности величины входного буфера. Проведенный численный анализ показал, что использование упрощенных моделей, основанных на модели входного потока как стационарного пуассоновского, не всегда оправдано и может привести к грубым погрешностям в расчетах вероятностей отказа. Проведено аналіз ймовірнісних характеристик роботи вузлів мережі Internet з урахуванням реального нестаціонарного характеру потоків запитів користувачів.Дано достатньо точну модель ймовірності відмови в прийнятті запитів через обмеження величини вхідного буфера. Проведений числовий аналіз показав, що застосування спрощених моделей, заснованих на моделі вхідного потоку як стаціонарного пуассонівського, не завжди виправдано і може призвести до грубих похибок в розрахунках ймовірностей відмови.
