| description | Approaches based on mathematical modeling to analyze the distribution of electoral fields were studied. Cellular automata and complex network models were analyzed. Cellular automata explain the formation of stable electoral regions, but are poorly suited for the real prediction. The advantage was given to the networks due to the possibility of taking into account the uneven spread of the public opinion. The connection between network communities and formation of stable electoral regions was considered. It is proposed to use the modularity to find the community boundaries which can explain existed electoral fields and predict the distribution of new electoral regions. To verify the selected approach, the distribution of electoral fields of the south of Ukraine was analyzed using data from parliamentary elections in 2014. |

Исследованы подходы на основе математического моделирования для анализа распределения электоральных полей. Рассмотрены модели на основе клеточных автоматов и сложных сетей. Клеточные автоматы объясняют образования устойчивых электоральных регионов, однако мало пригодны для реального прогнозирования. Из-за возможности учета неравномерного распространения общественного мнения преимущество отдано сложным сетям. Рассмотрена связь между сообществами в сети и образованием устойчивых электоральных регионов. Предложено использовать модулярность для нахождения границ сообществ и благодаря которым объяснить существующие электоральные поля и предсказать места образования границ новых электоральных регионов. Для верификации выбранного подхода проанализировано распределение электорального поля юга Украины на основе данных парламентских выборов 2014 г. Досліджено підходи на основі математичного моделювання до аналізу розподілу електоральних полів. Розглянуто моделі на основі клітинних автоматів та складних мереж. Клітинні автомати пояснюють утворення стійких електоральних регіонів, однак мало придатні для реального прогнозування. З огляду на можливість урахування нерівномірного поширення суспільної думки перевагу надано складним мережам. Розглянуто зв’язок між спільнотами у мережі та утворенням стійких електоральних регіонів. Запропоновано використати модулярність для знаходження меж спільнот і завдяки яким пояснити існуючі електоральні поля та передбачити місця утворення меж нових електоральних регіонів. Для верифікації обраного підходу проаналізовано розподіл електорального поля півдня України на підставі даних парламентських виборів 2014 р.
