Summary:An analytical-numerical method for determining temperature fields in a thermosensitive half-space under a wide range of thermal action is proposed. In this case, no restrictions are imposed on the nature of the temperature dependences of thermophysical characteristics. The solution of the heat conduction problem using the Kirchhoff transformation, Green's function, generalized functions, linear splines, and the inverse Kirchhoff transformation, which is based on Newton's iterative formula for finding the roots of transcendental equations, is reduced to the determination of the Kirchhoff variable at fixed moments of time from recurrent linear relations.
