Description
Summary:Temperature stresses affect the bond strength between the component plates of the bimetallic thermoconverter and cause partial delamination or a complete break-off. The design of the thermoconverter is proposed, in which there is a gap between the plates, and the plate with a higher coefficient of thermal expansion is made in the form of sections that rest on the edges of the plate with a smaller coefficient of thermal expansion. The strength of such bimetallic thermoconverter is investigated. It is shown that due to such a design, the thermoconverter maintains its integrity up to temperatures of the order of 760°С.   Cite as: T. P. Bardyn, B. D.
