Electromagnetic precursors of earthquakes and their recurrence

Analysis of the electromagnetic activity of aftershocks, which epicenters are located close to each other, was carried out using the data recorded by Borok and College Geophysical Observatories. It is found that in the case when the first earthquake is accompanied by its electromagnetic precursor, e...

description Analysis of the electromagnetic activity of aftershocks, which epicenters are located close to each other, was carried out using the data recorded by Borok and College Geophysical Observatories. It is found that in the case when the first earthquake is accompanied by its electromagnetic precursor, every next aftershock from this series is also preceded by its precursor. The concrete examples are presented and the results are discussed.
