У 2025 р. виповнюється 90 років від дня заснування кафедри геофізичних методів розвідки НТУ «Дніпровська політехніка». Роботу присвячено історії становлення та розвитку геофізичних досліджень у стінах Катеринославського вищого гірничого училища — Дніпропетровського гірничого інституту — Національного технічного університету «Дніпровська політехніка». Викладені матеріали є компіляцією публікацій, присвячених історії кафедри, а також спогадів працівників кафедри та їхніх родичів. Автор висловлює вдячність колегам геофізикам, співробітникам Народного музею історії ім. О.М.
