It is proposed to use the energy of explosion of acetylene-oxygen mixture under high pressure in special gas generators as a source of seismic waves. The modern methods of using explosive and non-explosive sources for generating seismic waves in exploration geophysics are briefly considered. Their disadvantages are indicated. Among the advantages of the proposed wave source are its low cost, mobility, and the absence of the need to obtain special permits for its use. |
