| description | The letter examines the ways in which the current Chronostratigraphic scheme of Early Precambrian of the Ukrainian shield does not follow the new Stratigraphic Code of Ukraine (2012), as well as its correlation to the International Geologic times scale. It also reflects a scheme of the ideas (considered mistaken by the author) that concern the scope and dismemberment, the relative stratigraphic locations and ages of the Archean pre-greenstone complexes of the Ukrainian Shield. The author proposes a return from the isotope-geochronological to the historic-geological foundations for the creating the stratigraphic scheme of the Lower Precambrian of the Ukrainian Shield, with the leading role given to the geological foundations of stratigraphic dismemberment and the correlation of Archean and Proterozoic; as well as providing a number of suggestions regarding content and organization for the creation of a new scheme. |

Рассмотрены несоответствия действующей Корреляционной хроностратиграфической схемы раннего докембрия Украинского щита новому Стратиграфическому кодексу Украины (2012), соотношения этой схемы с Международной шкалой геологического времени, а также отображенные в схеме ошибочные, по мнению автора, представления, касающиеся объема, расчленения, относительного стратиграфического положения и возраста архейских дозеленокаменных комплексов Украинского щита. Предлагается возврат от изотопно- геохронологических к историко-геологическим принципам построения стратиграфической схемы нижнего докембрия Украинского щита, с ведущей ролью геологических оснований стратиграфического расчленения и корреляции архея и протерозоя, а также приводится ряд содержательных и организационных рекомендаций относительно составления новой схемы. Розглянуті невідповідності діючої Кореляційної хроностратиграфічної схеми раннього докембрію Українського щита новому Стратиграфічному кодексу України (2012), співвідношення цієї схеми з Міжнародною шкалою геологічного часу, а також відображені в схемі помилкові, на думку автора, уявлення, що стосуються обсягу, розчленування, відносного стратиграфічного положення та віку архейських дозеленокам’яних комплексів Українського щита. Пропонується повернення від ізотопно-геохронологічних до історико-геологічних засад побудови стратиграфічної схеми нижнього докембрію Українського щита, з провідною роллю геологічних підстав стратиграфічного розчленування і кореляції архею та протерозою, а також наводиться низка змістовних та організаційних рекомендацій щодо складання нової схеми.
