Description
Summary:The paper shows the possibility of water supply toVinnitsausing groundwater in fractured crystalline rocks of Precambrian age, in case of emergencies. Hydrogeological model of theVinnitsagroundwater field has been created. Hydrogeological parameters, boundary conditions and water exchange mechanism, as well as sources of exploitable groundwater reserves formation in the fractured crystalline rocks were specified. The influence of various factors on the water content of the fractured crystalline rocks was studied. A set of additional field prospecting works necessary for siting of the production wells was determined. The possibility of groundwater exploitation in the forced regime depending on the length of emergency period was studied. To ensure reliable water supply toVinnitsaboth in normal operation and in emergency, it would be appropriate to conduct a set of necessary works to restore groundwater intake facilities.
