Description
Summary:The biomass of the Earth is formed by living matter that uses in the trophic chains of organisms the biologically active components of the environment, mainly СО2. The quantitive parameters of the biomass are directly depending upon the relation between the mass of biogens ant the producing biomass. During the production of biomass, about an order more quantity of biogens is used, and it is a constant relation. Therefore, the V. I. Vernadsky's law about "The persistence of the mass of protoplasm formations in the biosphere during the geological epochs" needs some correction in its name, and it is possible to formulate it as "The law of the constant relation between the biomass and mass of biologically active elements and combinations".
