Прослежены важные закономерности в ритмической смене палеогеографических условий в геологической истории. Эти изменения представляют собой спиральное развитие древних условий, обстановок и событий. Відклади великих підрозділів квартеру характеризуються різними типами ґрунтів, що властиві тільки цьому періоду. Простежено важливі закономірності у ритмічній зміні палеогеографічних умов у геологічній історії. Ці зміни являють собою спіральний розвиток давніх умов, обстановок та подій.
