I. Vernadsky's idea about "gas breathing" of the Earth, in particular, surface and near-surface manifestations of degassing. Paths of geofluids migration are shown, as well as structures resulting on the Earth surface and in the near-surface layer. Degassing of the Earth, particularly through its cold branch, is of considerable scale. Обсуждены проблемы и направления современного развития идеи В. И. Вернадского о "газовом дыхании" Земли в аспекте поверхностных и приповерхностных проявлений дегазации. Показано пути миграции геофлюидов и структуры, которые при этом возникают на земной поверхности и в припоповерхностном слое. Дегазация Земли, в частности, из-за ее холодной ветви, имеет значительные масштабы. Обговорено проблеми і напрями сучасного розвитку ідеї В.І. Вернадського про "газове дихання" Землі в аспекті поверхневих і приповерхневих проявів дегазації. Показано шляхи міграції геофлюїдів і структури, які при цьому виникають на земній поверхні і в приповерхневому шарі. Дегазація Землі, зокрема через холодну її гілку, має значні масштаби.
