Geological journal| Резюме: | Non-linear character of the main regularities of oil-gas accumulation (discrete distribution of all characteristics of petroleum potential, up-to-day estimations of the world prospecting resources etc.) require the advent of the adequate theory of naphtidogenesis with appropriate tectonic and geodynamic foundation. Plume-tectonics is such conception (it becomes the paradigma of present- day not only tectonics geodynamics and geophysics but also petrology, geochemistry and metallogene). Plumes are the main (mega)pipes of deep Earth degasation. They determine the key peculiarities of fluid-dynamic and thermodynamic regime of petroliferous basins and thus the nature of deep-lying reservoirs of oil and gas.
