Description
Summary:False seals as a special (intermediate between effective-porous reservoir and true screen) element of petrolifterous reservoirs are usually considered as especially negative factor of decreasing the volume of hydrocarbon traps. However, false seals (their the most important signs are high gas saturation and hydrophobic properties and their manifestations in increased electric resistivities, diminution of firmness as a result of Rebinder's effect. Potential of this unconventional source of natural gas in petroliferous regions ofUkraineis very considerable (especially in Dnieper-Donets aulacogen and Precarpathian foredeep) taking into account a great quantity pools (the majority of 340 fields are multihorizont), the broad phase-geochemical range and morphogenetic variety of complexly built reservoirs of pools.
