Description
Summary:In the hydrogeological regions of Ukraine, the main features of structural, geological, hydrodynamic and hydrogeological structure are analyzed and revealed, which promote the distribution of certain classes of mineral waters with increased mineralization within their boundaries. For the in-depth study of the chemical composition of these mineral waters, a method of simulation was used based on the principles of chemical thermodynamics. The obtained results concerning the diversity of phase composition, migration forms of chemical elements, the state of trace elements and the oxidation-reducing state in mineral waters of one type indicate their noticeable differences. In general, the results of thermodynamic modeling require a radical rethinking of the views on the chemical composition of mineral waters, their classification features, methods of mapping and clarifying the balneological purpose as a consequence.
