General information about them and stratigraphy of the Bug area granulite complex is given in Article 1. This article describes the stratigraphy of the Azov Area complex of the same-named megablock, substantiates the belonging to it and a single continuous section of the formations of theWest Azov (Lower) and Central Azov (Upper) series, which in official stratigraphic schemes are considered as subdivisions of different age. The schemes of stratigraphic dismemberment of series are set out, divergences with the official scheme and present isotopic dating of series are considered. The ground of the most credible Lower Archean age of Azov Area granulite complex is given. |
