Описаны геологию и нефтегазоносность Северного Омана – одного из самых перспективных нефтегазоносных регионов мира. В его строении выделены три тектонические зоны с различными уровнями перспективности: платформенная и складчатая зоны на суше и акватория Оманского залива. В комплексе поисково-разведочных работ на нефть и газ важное место занимают аэрокосмические методы исследования благодаря относительно невысокой стоимости и большим возможностям в постоянном накоплении и обработке информации. Описано геологію та нафтогазоносність Північного Оману – одного з найперспективніших нафтогазоносних регіонів світу. У його будові виділено три тектонічні зони з різними рівнями перспективності: платформна і складчаста зони на суші та акваторія Оманської затоки. В комплексі пошуково-розвідувальних робіт на нафту і газ важливе місце посідають аерокосмічні методи дослідження завдяки відносно невисокої вартості та великим можливостям у постійному накопиченні й опрацюванні інформації.
