As a result, the age of the first findings of amber-succinite inEuropeis defined by the time of existence of late paleolithic monuments in Volyn and Prydniprovya in the range of 18–13 thousands years from the present that corresponds to a final time of Wurm congelation, transition of a late paleolith to mesolit. Проанализированы литературные и фондовые источники по палеолитическим памятникам Европы, в которых содержится янтарь-сукцинит. В результате установлен возраст первых находок янтаря сукцинита в Европе, который определяется временем существования позднепалеолитических памятников Волыни и Приднепровья в интервале 18–13 тыс. лет от современности, что соответствует заключительной фазе валдайского оледенения, переходу позднего палеолита к мезолиту. Проаналізовано літературні та фондові джерела за палеолітичними пам'ятниками Європи, в яких міститься бурштин-сукцініт. У результаті встановлено вік перших знахідок бурштину сукцініту в Європі, який визначається часом існування пізньопалеолітичних пам'яток Волині та Наддніпрянщини в інтервалі 18-13 тис. років від сучасності, що відповідає заключній фазі валдайського заледеніння, переходу пізнього палеоліту до мезоліту.
