У цьому дослідженні вперше задокументовано нижньофаменські циртоспірифероїдні брахіоподи із Волино-Подільської плити на заході України, зокрема зі свердловин Локачинської, Торчинської, Ковельської та Великомостівської площ буріння у Волинській та Львівській областях. До складу вивченого комплексу входять три види: Cyrtospiriferinae gen. indet., Tornatospirifer sp. і Cyrtiopsis? sр. Незважаючи на певну невизначеність щодо останнього роду, це перший опис та зображення представників цих родів в Україні, що розширює наше уявлення про палеобіогеографічне поширення підродини Cyrtiopsinae.
