Tutkovsky, co-founder of the micropaleontological school at the Institute of Geological Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine. She studied microfauna, primarily foraminifera, from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Paleogene of platform Ukraine. The scientific achievements of O.K. Kaptarenko-Chernousova in micropaleontological, biostratigraphic and paleogeographic areas of research are characterized. The contribution of O.K. Kaptarenko-Chernousova to the creation of the micropaleontology school of the Institute of Geological Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine is highlighted. A complete bibliography of scientific works by O.K. Kaptarenko-Chernousova on micropaleontology, biostratigraphy, stratigraphy, and paleogeography of the Meso-Cenozoic of Ukraine is provided. |
