He is also an Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and a professor and doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences. It highlights the main areas of his scientific research, his most significant achievements and his role in developing lithology and oil and gas geology, as well as the modern concept of hydrocarbon generation (naftidogenesis) and the theory of Earth degassing. It covers fundamental and applied issues in petroleum and gas geology, as well as general and regional geology and resource studies, which focus on the search for and exploration of oil and gas, and were conducted at the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. |
