| description | The development of cities is accompanied by an increase in the height and density of buildings, the development of underground space, which leads to the need to update the methods and technologies for engineering and geological surveys. Existing regulatory documents regulate the methods and technologies for studying near-surface geological formations, mainly of Quaternary age. The development of underground space leads to the need to study mainly pre-Quaternary sediments as a medium for the placement and construction of engineering structures for various purposes: from residential buildings to defense facilities. Information on the engineering and geological properties, structure, condition and variability of pre-Quaternary sediments is scarce. The cities concentrated in the Dnipro River Valley are characterized by general patterns of geological structure due to the history of the region's development. In this paper, on the example of Dnipro city, the information on some aspects of regional engineering and geological conditions is generalized on the basis of generalization of information on the conditions of occurrence and properties of the most common geological horizons that are the environment of geological risk. The stratigraphic division of sediments and their indexing are presented in accordance with the legends to the map schemes of the used reports. The goal is to establish the general features of typification of engineering and geological conditions for the development of long-term plans for the development of underground space in urban areas in similar or similar conditions. The objectives were to substantiate the factors of the engineering and geological conditions of the research object; to analyze the study of the composition and properties of certain horizons that are or may be subject to technogenic impact during the construction of multi-storey residential or other structures, the zone of influence of which is located within the Quaternary sediments; to determine the relationship between undesirable engineering and geological processes and phenomena and the composition and properties of geological formations based on known data. The solution to this problem is relevant and will contribute to the sustainable development of cities. |

Розвиток міст супроводжується збільшенням висотності та щільності забудови, освоєнням підземного простору, що призводить до необхідності актуалізації методів і технологій виконання інженерно-геологічних вишукувань. Наявні нормативні документи регламентують методику і технології вивчення приповерхневих геологічних утворень переважно четвертинного віку. Освоєння підземного простору призводить до необхідності вивчення здебільшого дочетвертинних відкладів як середовища для розміщення та будівництва інженерних споруд різного призначення: від житлових будинків до оборонних об’єктів. Відомості про інженерно- геологічні властивості, структуру, стан і мінливість дочетвертинних відкладів поодинокі. Для міст, зосереджених у долині р. Дніпро, характерні загальні закономірності геологічної будови, зумовлені історією розвитку регіону. У даній роботі на прикладі м. Дніпро виконане узагальнення відомостей про деякі аспекти регіональних інженерно-геологічних умов на підставі аналізу даних про умови залягання та властивості найбільш поширених геологічних горизонтів, які є середовищем виникнення геологічного ризи- ку. Стратиграфічне розчленування відкладів та їх індексація подані згідно з легендами до картосхем використаних звітів. Мета – встановлення загальних особливостей типізації інженерно-геологічних умов для розроблення перспективних планів освоєння підземного простору міських територій в аналогічних або близьких умовах. Завдання полягали в обґрунтуванні чинників інженерно-геологічних умов об’єкта досліджень; аналізі вивченості складу, властивостей певних горизонтів, що зазнають або можуть зазнавати техногенного впливу при будівництві багатоповерхових житлових або інших споруд, зона впливу яких розташована у межах дочетвертинних відкладів; визначенні зв’язків небажаних інженерно-геологічних процесів та явищ і складу та властивостей геологічних утворень за відомими даними. Вирішення цієї проблеми є актуальним і сприятиме стійкому розвитку міст.
