In addition to the annual variation of the induction vectors, which is widely known, 11-year periodicity is found. It is a new geophysical phenomenon. While looking for precursory signals associated with earthquakes, these periodic variations must be taken into account.
Представлено результати обробки магнітоваріаційних даних 13 обсерваторій Північної Америки за 24 роки. Крім сезонної варіації векторів індукції, яка широко відома, виявлена 11 -річна періодичність. Вона являє собою новий геофізичний феномен. Для пошуку сигналів- провісників землетрусів ці періодичні варіації повинні бути прийняті до уваги.
