Статтю присвячено зовнішній політиці Кримського ханства у середині XVII ст. Об’єктом дослідження виступають посольства хана до королів Швеції – Карла Х Ґустава, Данії – Фредеріка ІІІ та австрійського імператора Фердинанда ІІІ у 1655 р. Автор доходить висновку, що політична активність Мегмеда Ґірея IV розвивалася під впливом польського короля Яна II Казимира. Ця співпраця була наслідком договору між Річчю Посполитою і Кримським ханством, укладеним у жовтні 1654 р. The article examines the foreign policy of the Crimean Khanate in the mid- 17th century. The embassies of the Crimean Tartars to Charles X Gustav of Sweden, Frederik III of Denmark, and Ferdinand III of the Holy Roman Empire in 1655 are the subject of the research. The author came to the conclusion that this political activity of the khan Mehmed Giray IV was developed under the influence of the Polish king, John II Casimir. This collaboration was the result of the agreement between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Crimean Khanate which was signed in October 1654.
