У роботі представлено історичний огляд розвитку концепції стеларатора на прикладі термоядерних досліджень у ННЦ ХФТІ. Даний матеріал покриває період з часу, коли І.В. Курчатов пропонував збудувати у Харкові великомасштабний стеларатор "Україна", по теперішній час. Головна увага надана торсатронним та модульним системам. В работе представлен исторический обзор развития концепции стелларатора на примере термоядерных исследований в ННЦ ХФТИ. Данный материал покрывает период с момента, когда И.В. Курчатов предложил построить в Харькове крупномасштабный стелларатор "Украина", по настоящее время. Курчатов пропонував збудувати у Харкові великомасштабний стеларатор "Україна", по теперішній час. Головна увага надана торсатронним та модульним системам.
