Показано значение управления процессом научно-технического развития с использованием стратегического подхода. Проанализированы положения документов и рассмотрены тенденции в области инноваций, изучены элементы реализации стратегий в целях достижения устойчивого развития. Обоснована необходимость определения приоритетов развития в контексте глобализации инновационного процесса. Обґрунтовано значення управління процесом науково-технічного розвитку з використанням стратегічного підходу. Проаналізовано положення документів і розглянуто тенденції у сфері інновацій, вивчено елементи реалізації стратегій з метою досягнення сталого розвитку. Доведено необхідність визначення пріоритетів розвитку в контексті глобалізації інноваційного процесу. The article demonstrates the importance of managing the process of scientific and technological development using the strategic approach. The provisions of the documents have been analyzed and the tendencies in the field of innovations have been examined, the elements of the strategies implementation for achieving sustainable development have been studied. The necessity of defining the development priorities in the context of the innovation process globalization is substantiated.Examples of best practices from leading countries demonstrated that the choice of priority areas in science and technology is considered in the context of developing a long-term sustainable development strategy and is linked to the solution of key social and economic tasks at the national and international levels. Analysis of the best world experience shows that the methodological support and mechanisms for selecting and implementing priority areas and critical technologies are constantly being improved under the influence of new challenges of global and national development.
