Synthesis of new diazepinoporphyrazine containing eight styryl fragments in the periphery of the macrocycle — tetrakis-2,3-{5,7-bis[(E)-2-phenylvinyl]-6H-l,4-diazepino}por-phyrazine and its magnesium complex was reported. The composition and structure of the compounds obtained was determined by means of ¹H NMR, IR, electronic spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The optical properties of the synthesized compounds were investigated in toluene and DMSO.
