Исследован спектр поглощения фотохромных пленок (AgCI)ₓ(CuCI)₁₋ₓ. Установлено, что интенсивная полоса наведенного поглощения в видимом диапазоне представляет собой суперпозицию двух полос: полосы поглощения коллоидных частиц серебра эллипсоидальной формы или цепочек из сферических частиц сферической формы и полосы поглощения ионов Cu²⁺ в AgCI.
