Using X-ray diffraction, strain measurement, scanning electron microscopy, and microprobe analysis, structure, composition and stress state were studied in Ti₄₁¸₅Zr₄₁¸₅Ni₁₇ quasi-crystalline ribbons prepared by one-side melt solidification on the rotating wheel.
