В работе рассмотрен новый тип биллиарда - композитный биллиард. Обсуждены общие свойства таких нелинейных систем. Получены критерии возникновения детерминированного хаоса и необычные механизмы хаотизации в них. Детально изучены особенности динамики лучей в простом примере комозитного биллиарда.
