У публічних дискусіях часто обговорювалися різні заходи з відновлення цієї мегаекосистеми, деякі з них увійшли до регуляторних державних і регіональних документів. Однак, на жаль, реалізовувалися ці заходи лише частково, нерідко в «пожежному» порядку і загалом не вирішували проблему, а інколи навіть призводили до небезпечних локальних наслідків. Слід зазначити, що однією з причин цієї вже без перебільшення екологічної катастрофи є властиве людській діяльності бажання безкоштовно отримувати матеріальні цінності, нещадно експлуатуючи природні ресурси. У статті автори, спираючись на понад 30-річні дослідження екосистем Північного Причорномор’я, пропонують власне бачення відновлення екосистеми Куяльницького лиману та невиснажливого і диверсифікованого використання його ресурсів, зокрема рослинних. The current state of the Kuyalnitskyi estuary (Odesa region) is one of the acutest environmental problems of the Northern Black Sea Region at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries. In the scientific literature, the mass media, numerous public forums, and adopted state and regional documents, a number of different in time, duration, and scope of work measures to restore this mega-ecosystem are proposed. Unfortunately, only part of their implementation, which was carried out often in haste, did not solve the problem as a whole, and in some cases even led to dangerous local consequences. It is impossible not to mention that one of the main reasons of an ecological catastrophe that has already taken place, besides many others, was also a socio-political one, based on the desire of the people to receive free material assets at the expense of exhausting exploitation of natural resources. In this publication, the authors did not set the goal of conducting an analysis or continuation of the discussion of the proposed approaches and measures and their effectiveness in eliminating the negative effects, but based on more than 30 years of study of the estuarine ecosystems of the Northern Black Sea Region, proposed their own vision of the restoration of the ecosystem of Kuyalnitskyі estuary and the nonexhausting and diversified use of its resources, in particular plant. uk Видавничий дім "Академперіодика" НАН України Вісник НАН України Статті та огляди Як відновити екосистему Куяльницького лиману?
