RECOOP Visegrad Scholarship Program
General Information:

Submission deadline on 31/01/2011.
In-Coming
Scholars from the following countries can apply for 1- to 4-semester Master's scholarships or 1-
or 2-semester Post-Graduate scholarships at any accredited public or private universities in the
Visegrad Group countries within the In-Coming scheme who are citizens of the following
countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia,
Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine
Scholars from the Visegrad Group
Scholars from the Visegrad Group countries can apply for 1- or 2-semester scholarships to all
accredited universities in V4 countries others than those of their citizenship and permanent
residence (Intra-Visegrad scheme) and to the following non-V4 countries (Out-Going scheme):
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia,
Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine.
Successful applicants within this scheme will receive scholarships of EUR 2,300/semester and
the corresponding host universities/institutes receive EUR 1,500/semester/scholar
RECOOP HST Consortium IVF Scholarship Matching Fund
a) IVF and RECOOP HST Consortium will publish the information about the possibility to
get support for studies at medical institutions;
b) Successful applicants within this scheme will receive IVF scholarships of EUR
2,300/semester and the corresponding host universities/institutes receive EUR
1,500/semester/scholar from the International Visegrad Fund
c) IVF and RECOOP HST Consortium will inform the member organizations about the two
contributions corresponding for the host universities/institutes in the amount of EUR
4.000/semester/scholar (EUR 1.500 by IVF + EUR 2.500 by RECOOP HST
Consortium);
d) Students will ask and would get an acceptance letters from the member organizations and
apply for IVF scholarship;
e) If a student is chosen, IVF signs agreement with the host institution and then sends to this
medical institution lump sum of EUR 1.500/semester. The RECOOP HST Consortium
sends EUR 2.500 after the research program (one page summary) was submitted to the
RECOOP Scientific Advisory Board and the Board accepted the program.
Conditions
1. RECOOP HST funding would be related to life science studies in medicine and
pharmacy.
2. The recipient of the scholarships would be master’s students, PhD students and young
researchers (post docs).
3. The RECOOP Consortium IVF Scholarship Matching Fund concerns only IVF scholars
at institutions that are members of the RECOOP HST Consortium
