держави 1918 року в монографічних дослідженнях сучасних вітчизняних істориків. Автор детально аналізує погляди вчених на це суспільне явище, з'ясовує сучасні концепції Гетьманщини 1918 року, простежує зв'язок між сучасними і більш ранніми інтерпретаціями
цього питання. Один з головних висновків цієї статті полягає в тому,
що дослідники, цілком справедливо відходячи від загальновідомих
стереотипно негативних оцінок Гетьманату 1918 року, одночасно не
повинні зображувати його суто позитивно. На думку автора, це було
б не менш тенденційним і невірним.
This article is devoted to the elucidation of history of the Ukrainian
hetman state of 1918 in the monographic researches of current native
historians specially dedicated to it. The author makes a detailed analysis of
the views of the scholars on this social phenomenon, reveals the modern
concepts of Нetmanshchyna of 1918, traces the interconnection between the
current and earlier interpretations of this problem as well as tries to
determine the degree of the proximity of the historians’ views to the truth of
history. One of the author’s conclusion is that when quite justly
withdrawing from the universally known stereotypically negative concept of
the Hetmanate the scholars at the same time must not run to another
extremity, portraying it quite positively, which would be not less prejudiced
and wrong.
