У статті аналізуються автобіографії істориків ХІХ – початку ХХ ст. М. І. Костомарова, В. Б. Антоновича, М. П. Драгоманова. Ключовими поняттями дослідження є такі концепти, як “подія життя”, “життєвий шлях”, “життєва стратегія”, “лінія життя”. Розуміння “події життя” як культурного та інтелектуального конструкту дозволяє з'ясувати особливості конструювання мемуаристами “життєвого шляху”. У роботі досліджується насиченість “подіями” різних етапів та різних сфер життя, а також особливості інтерпретації та репрезентації “подій”, зокрема усвідомлення автором своєї “життєвої стратегії” (щастя, успіху, самореалізації) та “лінії життя”, коли “подія” маркується як “фатальна”, “поворотна”, “бажана”, “непередбачувана”. Крім того, робиться спроба виявити фактори, що впливають на конструювання “життєвого шляху” мемуаристами-істориками, а також простежити особливості функціонування автобіографічних текстів в університетському середовищі. The paper provides an analysis of 19th and early 20th centuries autobiographies by M. Kostomarov, V. Antonovich, M. Dragomanov. Such concepts as “life event”, “life course”, “life strategy”, “life line” act as key notions of the research. The understanding of the “life event” as a cultural and intellectual construct enables us to reveal the features of the memoirists’ construction of “the life course”. My research focuses on the «event» saturation at various stages of life and in different spheres of life. I am also interested in features of the interpretation and representation of the relevant “events”, in particular, the comprehension by the memoirist of their “life strategy” (well-being, success, self-realization) and “life line”, when the “event” is labeled as “fatal”, “desired”, “unexpected”. In addition, the paper seeks to identify the factors affecting the construction of “the course of life” by memoirist historians, as well as to trace the functioning of autobiographical texts in the university environment.
