У статті висвітлюється непростий шлях створення в Україні
 школи костомаровознавства видатним істориком, історіографом
 Ю. А. Пінчуком. Приділено увагу науковому доробку костомаровознавця, представлені учні та послідовники Ю. А. Пінчука, для яких
 науково-історичні здобутки М. І. Костомарова стали об’єктом дослідження. Доктори наук О. В. Ясь, О. О. Ковалевська, Є. М. Луняк,
 кандидати історичних наук О. Т. Гончар, А. М. Бовгиря, Т. П. Малютіна та ін. публікували свої розвідки в наукових виданнях, брали
 активну участь в костомаровознавчих проектах учителя, тим самим
 здійснили вагомий внесок у створення школи костомаровознавства.
 Надано оцінку організованим в Чернігові щорічним Костомаровським
 читанням (з 2002), які об’єднали краєзнавців, музейних працівників,
 науковців-істориків тощо не тільки Чернігівщини, а й усієї України. The article gives an overview of difficulties in creating a "Kostomaroznavstvo"
 – the School of study and research of creativity by
 M. Kostomarov in Ukraine. It was created by a prominent historian and
 historiographer Yu. A. Pinchuk. This article pays attention to the scientific
 work of this “Kostomarov scientist”, and presents all pupils and followers
 of Yu. A. Pinchuk, who chose the historical achievements of M. I. Kostomarov
 as the subject of their researches. Ph.D.'s O. V. Yas, O. О. Kovalevska,
 E. M. Lunіak, Candidates of Historical Sciences O. T. Gonchar,
 A. M. Bovgyria, T. P. Maliutina and others published their developments in
 scientific journals. They took an active part in the “Kostomarov science”
 projects of their teacher. That was a significant contribution to the
 establishment of a school of M. Kostomarov research. This article also
 gives the evaluation of the annual Kostomarov reading (established in
 Chernigov in 2002), which brought together local historians, museum
 workers, historians, and scientists not only from Chernihiv but also from all
 parts of Ukraine.
